Terms of Use

The plain agreement behind this color game

Playing HueChase means agreeing to the points below. They're scoped to match what this is: a free, browser-based color-perception game with no purchases involved anywhere.

What you're agreeing to

HueChase is free to play from start to finish. There's no currency, no subscription tier, and no mechanic anywhere that exchanges real money for any advantage. Playing the game means accepting these terms as currently written.

What the game involves

You spot a subtly different color shade among a grid of near-identical tiles. That's the complete gameplay loop across as many rounds as your guesses allow. There's no element of chance tied to monetary value and nothing resembling a wager anywhere in the design.

HueChase contains no randomized paid purchases, no loot mechanics, and no system where real or virtual currency is staked on an outcome. Every round is freely generated and freely retried.

Acceptable use

Play HueChase for your own enjoyment as often as you like. Please don't scrape or repackage the underlying color-generation code for commercial resale, automate guessing through external scripts in disruptive ways, or otherwise interfere with the page's normal operation.

Ownership

The color-difference logic, grid layout, and overall presentation belong to the people who built HueChase. Playing grants you a personal licence to enjoy the experience — it doesn't transfer ownership of any part of the work.

No promises of perfection

We've tested HueChase across common displays and browsers, but exact color rendering can vary slightly between screens and we can't guarantee identical perception everywhere. If a round ever feels off, refreshing typically resolves it.

Limits on liability

To whatever extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect issues stemming from your use of this free experience. Since nothing financial changes hands, our practical exposure is intentionally minimal.

Changes

We may adjust grid sizes, color ranges, or these terms as the game develops. Continuing to play after a change means you're comfortable with the current version.
